I ordered these boots a couple of weeks ago. Just wore them last week. The fit is good my calves are 17 1/2. I still have a lot of room. To bad all the nice stylish boots are sold out. Will order more next winter. These are wonderful for wide calves. Avenue so far is the greatest for stylish, nice, wide calf boots.
Falcon Studded Back Riding Boot
The price was right, but not the fit. they wouldn't even go up my calves and I would have to say that my calves are average for a plus size person. Unfortunately, I either have to return these or sell them off to someone else. I am considering selling them because I don't have a car and there aren't any AVENUE stores close to me. I am trying to avoid the $8.00 ship back/ return/ fee.
Love these boots!
I absolutely LOVE these boots. Finding boots that fit is an almost impossible task due to my gigantic calves. These fit perfect and are a beautiful cognac color. To top it off they are taller than the typical boot so they are very much in style right now. I wish they would make more boots that are at or over the knee I stead of the lower ones.
Love It..So Far!
Due to huge calves I never owned tall boots so these are my first pair. I love these boots. The studs on the back make them pop-sexy. I have 18" calves and with hose or tights they are not snug but they don't sag either. Perfect fit with jeans tucked in. I wear a 9.5 M/B so they are a little big as they only come in wide. But, that's a blessing for me as it allows for my arch support inserts. I'm 5'5" and they hit me right at the knee so they may be a little tall for some. But, overall, I love, love, love them. I plan on wearing them with leggings and sweater dresses. I can't speak to durability yet but, if they fall apart I'll let you know. I took advantage of some pre-Thanksgiving sales so I only paid $30...woohoo!
