      When I opened the package, I was skeptical. Many of The Avenue tops are too short to cover da belly and this one looked like it was going to be the same...but it wasn't! It fit perfect - light weight material for those of us who have personal summers, the sleeve length is wonderful and the button detail gives it a little bit of style. Unfortunately, mine also came with a portion of the seam that missed the sewing machine - not discovered until I'd already worn it into work. No, it's not a big deal to sew up a seam, but then again, we shouldn't have to on a new garment. Definitely a great top. Got the black, would have ordered the other two colors (and a black replacement) if my size had still been available.

              For fall I really like 3/4 sleeve tops as I always end up rolling up long sleeves. I like the sleeves on this and I really like the neckline touches. The color was a little off from the photo, but not much. What I think some people won't like is that the fabric is quite thin/lightweight. Now me, I'm always hot it seems, so I think I'll be fine with it, but if you're someone who gets cold and wants a heavier-weight fabric, I'd think twice about this one or plan to wear it with a cardigan.
