Comments about Fergo Double Buckle Riding Boot:

I have had these boots for less than two months. About six weeks into my ownership, and after wearing these boots a handful of times, the heel on my left boot has completely fallen off. I took the boot to my local shoe repair guy and he couldn't fix it because he would have had to replace the entire sole. I am highly disappointed because I have wide feet that swell, and I have wide calves. So, it's extremely hard for me to find stylish boots in my size that I can afford. The fit and the style are SUPERB! The quality isn't great for the price. Avenue needs to do better!! Please!! :)

Comments about Fergo Double Buckle Riding Boot:

I am a tall girl who is top heavy and thinner bottom.. I have big calfs but they are proportioned with my legs. Muscular i guess? Anyway, I love these boots so much! Comfy, good fit for my sz 11 feet, fit right to my knee and i still had a little room with even wearing my thin legged jeans. I don't wear them every day, so they still stay nice and clean. Ive had them for over 2 months already and not one problem yet. I hope these come back out again next fall because I will buy them again in Black! :)

Cute boots, but the quality is terrible! The sole/heel broke after owning them for less than 2 months.

POOR QUALITY ON THE SOLE/HEEL OF THE BOOT. I HAVE ONLY OWNED THSES BOOTS 1 MONTH AND THE HEEL OF THE BOOT IS SEPERATING FROM THE SOLE OF THE BOOT. IT'S MADE OF RUBBER AND CRACKED IN HALF. I WOULD RETURN BUT I HAVE DISCARDED THE BOX AND THE RECEIPT. BE CAREFUL

Comments about Fergo Double Buckle Riding Boot:

I will agree with a previous poster that these run big - I usually take a 9 in boots/shoes but these in the 8 are actually a little big. For me, this is good, since it means I can fit thicker socks and don't have to wear dress socks. I also agree with the person who said that they are big in the ankle; I, too, have found this, but it just makes it easier to tuck my pants into the boots. Additionally, it adds (what I think is) a cute little "scrunch" effect to the ankle, making them look less like riding boots :) I've had mine for about 3 weeks and have worn them almost every day. I have both colors since I loved them so much when I found them in the store that I couldn't resist getting both colors. I have found them to be very well made so far and haven't had any scuffing yet. I will agree that mine were a little harder to zip up at first, but have loosened a little since I got them (though not anywhere near enough that I worry about them unzipping on their own). I would highly recommend trying to find them in-store to try on, but if that doesn't work, measure your calf. Mine measures at 17" and these fit snugly with pants tucked in and loosely without. But if your calf measures any bigger than I would say to perhaps pick an 18" circumference boot instead. To address the height issue, I'm 5'6" and these come up to about an inch under my knee. However, again, I would recommend measuring for your preference (they are 16" tall). Overall, I love everything about them and highly recommend them to anyone.

Comments about Fergo Double Buckle Riding Boot:

I wore these for one day and already the material is coming off of both toes. I wore them to work where I sit at a desk. There is no reason they should have scuffed so badly on the toes after just one day! It was sad that I spent so much money and now I can't even enjoy them.

There is no stretch in this boot..I have chunky calfs and was very dissapointed they wouldn't zip all the way up..I've ordered boots from here last year and was pretty excited because there very stylish and comfortable...But I do recommend their Cruz stretch wide calf boots item#244917075

Comments about Fergo Double Buckle Riding Boot:

I had some trouble zipping these up, but once I did, they fit well. They have loosened up a little bit, and I can pull them on with ease now. They are very big around the ankle, and the foot is too wide. I have very muscular calves, but thin ankles and feet, so I have to wear thick socks for them to fit well on the foot. They aren't very tall, only 16'' tall (I wish they would put those measurements in the product description!!!), and they hit about 5'' below my kneecap (I am 5'10'' so these might be perfect on a shorter person). I don't quite understand the non-functioning zipper on the outside of the boot. Overall, for inexpensive boots, they aren't bad.
