Comments about Sid Tall Lace Back Riding Boot:

I love the fact that Avenue offers extra-wide width boots in a sz 13 because my feet have always been hard to fit. However, not everyone with wide feet has wide calves so this is always a problem. I've purchased 4 other styles including another pair on this same order which all fit great But, these were the absolute worst! The shoes felt 2 different sizes because the left was very tight and and I couldn't even put the right on completely!

Comments about Sid Tall Lace Back Riding Boot:

These boots are flat-out fabulous. They are built for a very wide calf and accomodate any of my jeans nicely. They would look great with a dress but I'd need leggings or heavier socks with them. These boots do not need insoles and if you're used to ony wearing flats or sneakers, this nice 1" clunky heel will get your feet and legs back into shape but in comfort. They hold well (i.e. do not slip) on wet and slick surfaces. I did have to retie because of the round laces, easily solved with a knotted bow. Comfortable for all day wer, comfortable to drive in, look great with whatever you wear. If you are not a plus-sized woman, look for a smaller sized shaft in a similar style because these will accomodate chunky calves AND their jeans.

Looks Good BUT HOLLOW HEEL COLLAPSES

Comments about Sid Tall Lace Back Riding Boot:

Good looking boot, BUT will not last you a season. Boot is made with a cheap, hollow heel that cracks and collapses! I took them to a shoe repair, but the way the heel is attached to the sole and boot, they could not remove or repair the heels. Fits 18" calf great, boot is good looking, heel height is good for walking around campus. It's a shame about the heel being made so cheaply as everything else on the boot wore well.

Comments about Sid Tall Lace Back Riding Boot:

I wore these boots a a total of 5 times when I bought them last year. On the 6th wear I noticed that the sole broke between the footbed and the heel rendering these boots useless. It would cost more to replace the sole than what I paid for the boots. Wide calf boots sometimes make my calves look even bigger than normal but not so with these boots. I wish they were better quality because they were very cute and I received many compliments on them.
