For the money the quality of fabric is great. The denim is thick, soft and pre washed. I was dissapointed in the thickness of the elastic waist/overall cut-shape. It's a very high waist, and I usually like a bit higher waist. The elastic waist band is about 2" tall which I'm not a fan of. They seem to balloon in the stomach area. The fabric almost has too much give after a few minutes of wearing them in the waist front and back. Then flare out from there to the legs gradually while going back to narrow at the ankle area. I was looking for something like Fashion Bug sold, which are elastic waist, thinner stretch fabric, cut more straight in length. (I mention that store as they've closed doors. No other Plus Size instore retailers to compare with them.) I thought by buying the same brand of jeans, I would get a very similar cut. These look "Granny jeans". No offense to those who might be of a senior age or for who these may be more flattering on. The length has shrunk to where I need them, being a short person of 5'1. I carry my weight in the abdomen and under belly area, so I need the comfort and stretch there. I don't have large thighs or ankles so I like a more straight-slender cut in the legs/ankles area. I took a chance and bought the size I thought I needed. Could have probably bought a smaller size.

First pair of denim leggings I've found that match the fit of the discontinued JCP Cabin Creek leggings. I am pleased and just ordered two more pair.

I am so glad that the Avenue started carrying these jeans again!! I bought several pair and wish they would bring them back in black, too! PLEASE bring back the black, too!!

I've been buying Avenue leggings since years ago when they were made in summer weight cotton/spandex and came in pastel colors as well as denim blues. They were fabulous and why Avenue stopped making these is beyond me since denim-style leggings have only increased in popularity over the years. Avenue even stopped carrying this basic wardrobe staple for a time. Duh? These current leggings are o.k. but I got the medium wash color and the fabric is stiff which I hope will soften with laundering. The sizing is now for a dual range so if you're on the smaller size of the 2-sizes, the cut is fuller than a legging should be. Overall, I'm glad they didn't add pockets or other embellishments as it's hard to find slimming, plain pull-on denims that won't show bulges under a top. Wish they'd bring back the originals in a summer weight in pastels like yellow, bleached blue, etc. as I wore them all year round and I wish they'd fix the pattern so it's a bit closer to the body as it goes down the leg.

I love these jeans! You can dress them up with heels and a nice top or just wear them with sneakers. The material is light and comfortable. I ordered another pair!
