        i bought this skirt in black for a party because i was also wearing a nice blouse,and wanted to be dressy. when i tried it on,it felt true to size and went just below my knees,i am 5'7. all night i felt comfortable and i didn't have to keep pulling the skirt down because it didn't rise up which was great. i got compliments on it and when i sat down it was still comfortable. you can also wear this to work or school as it stays put when you sit and then stand. i would definitly reccomend this to a friend.

                  This would work best if you have to have a black skirt for a uniform or were wearing a long top over the skirt. I returned mine. I really did not like the way the elastic waist looked.

                  I really really wanted to like this skirt. It's a really nice silky material, and the length is perfect. However, the photo makes it look like it is an A-line skirt, but it is really tailored to a pencil skirt shape. I like pencil skirts, but this one has NO STRETCH and no gusset or slit in the back. When it's on, I can't walk properly in it because the part around my knees is not big enough. If I needed to step up anything higher than a curb height, I would have to hitch it up over my knees. I was sad to send it back because it is a nice material and shape. If you are petite or don't have a long stride when walking, I would recommend this skirt. If you are active and need to walk alot for work or otherwise while wearing this skirt, you may want to pass.
