These boots were a great idea gone wrong. The look is trendy and fashionable but the wear is painful. The heel has no support and simply drops off from the highest point to the ball of your foot. It feels like someone stuck a wooden peg under my heel. I added an insert which helps, but for the price I would expect to not have to improve the shoe myself. On the second wear, the sole began to separate and I had to glue it together to make it through the day. Also, the buckles do not stretch with the shoe and I am thinking of cutting off the top most buckle. It's a great looking boot but the wear is just too much.

These boots are made of a super-comfortable fabric that looks like suede. Since style is about looks, I don't care whether they are real suede or not--as long as they look like they are.

I've worn them with a skirt and with pants (legs tucked in). They work well both ways and will be my "go to" boots this season. Because they are fabric, not leather, they may not last for more than one season. However, for the price, that seems reasonable.

My calves are 21-22 inches around, so I ordered these boots after trying on numerous pairs of boots that wouldn't zip past mid-calf. I ordered a size 13W to get more fit allowance for my calves, though I normally wear an 11W or 12M. I am happy to report that after unbuckling the top buckle before zipping and rebuckling after, they zipped up all of the way, and do not feel too big. I am 5'7" with long legs, and they hit 2" below my knee, which is fantastic for me. They are very stylish looking, but I anticipate they will wear out fairly quickly on the sole, which is quite thin.

Unfortunately, the heel bed of these boots have NO cushioning, and have already become quite uncomfortable after my standing in them for awhile. I plan to wear them while going about my normal walking day to judge how comfortable they will be at the heel and ball of my foot.

At first glimpse these are great. Fit my wide calves which is a hard find. My problem with them is i wore them twice and the soles of the heels are coming off the boots themselves. I have to either send them back or bring to a shoe repair shop and have the soles glued back on. other than that a nice pair of boots

I've always liked boots but have never been able to fit them over my large calves. I wear 18/20 clothes at Avenue, so I thought the boots here would work for me. Most still don't, but I thought the stretch would make these work. It does... I can just barely zip them up, but I have to unhook the strap to do it, which then hangs there on either side. I'm working on a fix with supplies bought at a fabric and craft store, but I would have hoped that Avenue boots would have fit easily.
