        I really wanted to love these shoes because they are so cute. When I opened the box, I could tell the 11WW I ordered would never fit. I could not fit my foot in the shoe and unfortunately had to return them. I purchased a different pair of shoes in store and compared the width....the 11W replacement shoes were wider than these in 11WW!

        The shoe is described as Tan on-line but looks brown. When I received it, the box said Taupe, go figure! There is nothing tan or taupe about this shoe. It is very narrow and although I got the 11WW it does not feel like a true double wide at all. Feels narrower than a regular wide width. It is a good looking shoe and I thought it would be a good choice for church or work. Wish the heel was a little higher but that is the way I feel about most of Avenue's shoes.

        Overall, a nice shoe but don't be fooled by the WW. This is most definitely a BROWN shoe.

        They are stiff, but also new, they could relax over time, and end up turning into everyday.
        It really is a beautiful shoe.
        I thought the overall height was 2 1/2" but it's actually 3", so the heel height is 2 1/2
