The straps are a slightly different color from the base of the heel but when you are wearing them its hardly noticable. I did have to wear them for a few hours to get used to the size of the heel because i typically dont wear them so high, but they are great!

I love heels but don't wear them everyday. These were a little high but not to the point of discomfort. I'm a plus size girl so the wedge heel makes for even more comfort. Got lots of compliments on them too. Great price also.

The elastic around the ankle stretched out within the first few hours and is all broken down/scalop, so it doesn't hold your heal in place.
Around the toe area there is vinyl under the elastic so it doesn't stretch... very uncomfortable.

These shoes are hot. The heel is higher than it appears in the catalog. They look so good on your feet. Only con is you can't keep them on all day. Just take an extra pair of shoes with you. It's worth it.

Really cute shoes. Nice for maxi dresses and pants. Imagine my disappointment when I tried the shoe on and one strap cut off my circulation! Spent 20 extra dollars to have that ONE strap extended because the shoes were so cute. Glad I caught these no sale. Otherwise, they would've gone back!

For people with larger or wider feet get a size larger or wide width. The shoe is very cute and stylish, but the fit is narrow and the straps are not stretchy as they look. I am tall (5'9') and wear high heels, but these heels don'f feel stable enough for a wedged heel. If it felt right, I would have ordered other colors!

The shoes are beautiful, however, i order these from catalog and i didn't realize that the heels were sooo tall, taller than expected. Otherwise, these shoes are awesome, and very sexy:) If you like wearing high heel shoes, these are for you; if not, then i HIGHLY recommend ONLY wearing these shoes for a special and short occasion! Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

THe shoes were just slightly smaller then I anticipated. They were really stylish and sassy! I did have a difficult time with them being very slippery on the bottom.

I will wear these to work , church and out with friends. I love the colors, the fit and the wedge heel. The only downside was that the navy pair that I ordered were previously worn by someone else. They were scratched and scuffed. JL did allow me to send them back free of charge and I was able to order another pair. I had to pay again and will be reimbursed for the ones returned. Check your shoes. The ones I got should have been thrown away.

The shoe is cute, fits o.k., but when I bought the shoe I thought it was a wide sole platform shoe, not a narrow sole platform shoe. If you are not used to wearing high heels then this shoe is not for you because it does not give you much to stand on.

I was a little worried that the straps wouldn't strecth and I have really wide feet but they do. Very comfortable however, the heel is more like 4inches.

I will wear these sandals to work, church and when I go out. I like then very much. I was not sure if I would like them. My foot did start slipping, so I bought some "ball of foot" cushions. They stopped my foot from slipping and gave added comfort. I ordered the black ones, I liked them so much that I have now ordered the Navy and the Tan. The wedge heel is kinda high, but cute. I will wear them with capris, jeans, skirts, dresses or shorts. They add some sexy to my style!

I love the fit of these shoes. I ordered a Wide width in Black, and am very happy with the fit. The elastic bands across the ankle make it a very comfortable fit, easy to get on & off. With the croco trim on the heel and the back of the ankle, you can dress these shoes up for the office or go casual and wear out with jeans/capri's. I may have to get another color!!!

I absolutely love the look of this shoe. The details on the heels is great! I ordered the shoe in red and they make my feet look and feel sexy and stylish. My one complaint with the shoe is that the color wears easily on the seams on the back heel revealing little white specks (they arrived this way). While it is fixable, I feel these are shoes you would need to be careful wearing. Perhaps if the entire shoe was cloth it would be worth a recommendation, but the patent leather heels take away from an otherwise wonderful design.

I like the way strappy wedge heeled shoes look on my feet and enhance my calves. The wedge heel gives me a since of security when I walk instead of a spike heela or skinny heel shoe. Whenever I can find a trendy pair of wedges, I will buy them in every color.

These are great shoes. They are sexy, but very wearable. I have received some great compliments on them at the office.

These are super hot, but they are also super high. They would be great for a night (of mostly sitting) on the town. The bit on your heel is stiff so you may want to use some of that liquid skin stuff before you wear them. Also, get a gel pad for the ball of your foot.

This is a great spring/summer shoe. The arch is a little too far back, doesn't quite hit exactly where I'd prefer on my foot. It takes some getting used to, but doesn't sacrifice the comfort. I bought navy and tan, the colors are great. I recommend buying this sandal, you'll love it!

I opened the box and there they were. Sexy Strappy sandals that make my long toes look good! I tried them on and all went well until I tried to walk in them. My foot immediately slipped forward with toes jutting out beyond the edge of the shoe. Not cute ladies, not cute at all! However this is easily solved by adding a pair of non-slip inserts for sandals. The sandals pair well with skirts, dresses, capris and of course jeans.

I really liked these shoes from the picture, but when I got them, the elastic straps did not firmly hold my foot in, so it was too wide, and the heel was too high since my foot was not secure. I had no problems with returning it, though. I will still order from Jessica London.

The shoes are gorgeous to look at but painful to even try on. I had to send mine back. The straps did not fully accomodate a wide width foot and the wedge had little if any cushioning which made them very hard.

Great shoe except the tip in the back at the top sticks into your skin. Offering a slightly lower heel would also be a great idea even with the wedge. Colors and Crock texture looks fantastic.
The Wide bands and stretch fit is wonderful.

hats off to your company for bringing wide type shoes to modern fashion. Wide ift makes you feet last a lot longer than medium, I think it's a catagory that truly gets overlooked. These wedges I can wear all day and my feet aren't as swollen as in normal sandals.A great fine. A great buy. Just wish you added a darker brown to the selection of color.
