If you love classic clothes, this is the coat for you. As I am short, I purchased a Woman's Petite and it fit perfectly. No expensive tailoring needed. The only negative I found was the anchor buttons were sewed on upside down.

This is a good quality coat especially for the money. Got it with 30% off coupon. Well worth the price; certainly as nice as the same style coat at Macy's and other vendors, going for $125.00 and up. Wish they had more colors like: a soft lt. cherry pink, a soft bluish aqua, or a deep plum(instead of the purple). I orderd camel and it is closer to Verona or a Mocha color, but definitely NOT camel; but I like it anyway.

The plus/petite's problem:
Option 1: Buy a Woman's size that is big enough to get around the chest/torso but looks like a 4 year old in Mom's coat, or
Option 2: Buy the largest Petite you can find and go for the casual "it's too warm for me to zip/button it up" look but at least the sleeves don't impede finding your car keys in your purse.

Problem SOLVED! This is an awesome coat. Thank you so much for realizing that some Plus/Petite women live in the north and need to leave their homes! The shoulder fit and sleeve length were my biggest pet peeves about my past ill-fitting coats, and this coat solves both of those problems with style. The overall length is great -- covers a decent portion of your bottom when standing but short enough to make getting in and out of the car easy. The classic styling is great -- it looks like all othe other peacoats that I see in stores but just don't fit.

The coat was very attractive but I was looking for something for the cold weather it just wasn't warm enough I sent it back. I would recommend it if the person was only looking for style.

I ordered this coat in the petite size and, for the most part, fits well. It is a little wide in the shoulders; however the arm length and leg length is great. The Loden color seems a little dark in regular lamp light, but outside and under flourescent lights it's a great color green.

I am wearing my coat during this very cold weather. The coat keeps me warm, and the size feels comfortable. The coat gathers a lot of lint. I love the blue color.

Well I'm only 4'11 and hard to find a "happy medium" for clothes because the "smallest" women's size is usually too big and the "largest" petite is too little.
This coat would fit comfortable, even with a bulky sweater.

This coat is very warm. I just wore it in -10 degree wind chills and it kept me warm. I ordered it in purple and have received many compliments on it and the color. In fact a neighbor wanted to order one and a cousin. and they wanted purple!

We have had a particularly cold winter and this coat has been wonderfully warm. I feel as though it looks good and yet is very durable. I love it.

We bought this for my mother for a winter coat and she loved it. It was just short enough that it was a comfortable coat for the car. And I like that they had petite sizes.
