I have not yet washed this lovely sweater so am unable to comment about pilling. I am praying that, even with the acrylic content, by laundering on delicate and drying flat, perhaps I can avoid that problem. I do, however, love the way this sweater feels and will look great with a jacket in the fall. I did have to, initially, exchange for a larger size. I do think that it might run a little small but I am very happy now.

I now have the Ginger/Chocolate/Black/Cream sweaters in this style. The black and cream seem to run slightly larger than the ginger or brown. I wash these in the machine and line dry. After a few wears I am noticing some pilling where my arm and side meet - nothing a pill shaver won't take care of though - just a little extra work to keep them looking nice for work.

The kelly green was a beautiful color and the buttons on the 3/4 length sleeves were really a nice touch. The sweater was light weight but I had to return it because it was very short. This may have been cute if a longer shirt was put under it for that twofer look to cover the problem areas. I would also order a size larger as usual with most Jessica London products!

Of all the tops I ordered, this was my favorite. I ordered the chocolate and ginger colors. I absolutely LOVE the ginger color - very flattering on semi-light skin and dark hair. Good with a nice skirt for work as well as with jeans while I'm doing my running around but not wanting to look run-down.

I have this sweater now in 6 colors. The square neckline is very flattering to many facial types and this one is not set so low as to expose too much. The fabric is soft and washes well with few if any wrinkles. It can be worn with jeans or with a skirt and looks great with either. The three quarter length sleeves hide flabby upper arms without binding and the buttons at the edge add a nice touch.

I have nothing bad to say about this product. I love it. I wear one of them to church almost every Sunday and it keeps me warm as well as really looking good. The neckline is perfect for the jewelry I have to wear with it. I had a white one and a tan one and now I ordered a red one and a aquamarine one so I have a fullwardrobe of these sweaters. They wash nicely so I can wear it for any occasion I want--even just around the houose.

I am so pleased with this sweater! It is a lovely color, washes well, looks great and feels superb against my skin!

The colors are great but I was expecting the same fit and material like their crew neck one from last year. I thought they would be exactly the same but this one is lighter and more sheer. The crew neck I could wear year round this square neck one is more for the spring / summer. I love J. G. Hook clothes but I wish I had known they changed this one on me. The description reads exactly like the crew neck one but it is not the same sweater.

In the past few years I've purchased many of these sweaters. I've lost some weight so I had to go down from a size 4X to a 1X recently. The sweater fits nicely under a blazer for work, and looks great with a scarf or necklace on its own with a pair of slacks or a skirt.
There are two suggestions that I would make: first, make this a long sleeved sweater instead of three-quarter sleeves and second make the sleeves a little fuller possibly with a nice cuff and ruching at the shoulder. These will give the sweater more versatility.

This is a lovely sweater. I ordered it in green. The color is bright and vivid without being too flashy. The fit is flattering, not clingy. This garment is very practical and can be worn for most any occasion. You can wear it casually with jeans or to the office with a skirt, under a suit or dress it up and wear it out to dinner. However, I would not wear this sweater for a dressy or formal event.

I highly recommend purchasing this sweater. You will not be disappointed.

I like the square neckline and the lightweight knit, which is great for spring. The sweater felt smaller than average, particularly in the armpit and sleeves. I ordered this sweater in the burnt orange color. Everything else I tried to order in that color was sold out and I needed something to match a pair of pants I bought. For me and I'm only 5'4" I found the sweater to be a little short even though I ordered up one size.
