This is a most beautiful dress and it is very comfortable to wear as well. I have had a black one for 2 years. It is a bra-friendly dress, just make sure that your bra is cut low. I was really happy with this purchase. The dress was very pretty, it was comfortable and nice enough to wear to a formal wedding. The only thing that I did not like was that the liner was too low on my chest. For some, this may be okay, but for those who are uncomfortable with showing a lot of skin (cleavage to be exact), it is important to keep this in mind. It might just be my body type, but I'm sure it would sit low on most people.

I bought this dress for my nephew's wedding after searching and finding nothing I liked in the local stores. I measured at one size but my instinct said to order it a size larger. Glad I did! It fit like a dream and I received many compliments at the wedding and reception. The only issue I had with it was getting the wrinkles out. Since it comes packed in a box the wrinkles are unavoidable. I used my clothing steamer and had to go over it three times. The length worked for me...I'm 5'9" and it hit me low on the calf. I wore this dress to a wedding, and I felt beautiful in it. I'm a big girl and rather self-conscious about wearing dresses, but this one was flattering and comfortable. My only quibble is that the top is a little too low-cut for my taste, but it wasn't unacceptable by any means, and there's enough material to close it up a little with a nice brooch if you want. The shawl is nice and long (too often they're too short to wear comfortably), although the black-on-black looks a little funereal - wear big bright jewelry to offset it.

I loved the way the fabric feels and flows. What I was not happy about was the lining is so much tighter than I would like and it was very low cut. On arrival this dress will be wrinkled somewhat due to packaging. I used my iron on a low setting and did it myself and it turned out fine. Loved this dress, but as another buyer pointed out, plus size girls usually don't like sleeveless things and I am no exception, she had hers sent to the tailors to have sleeves made of the shawl - BRILLANT mine is going just as soon as possible then it will be a 5 star for sure! It is a little too long but I am 5'4" and that happens alot and I like things long anyway

This is a beautiful dress and a bargain at this price. However, I only gave the dress four stars because I really would have preferred it with sleeves. The dress is at the tailors---he's making the shawl into sleeves. Since most larger size women are self-conscious about their upper arms, I don't even know why manufacturers bother making sleeveless dresses in women's sizes. Even a short ruffle sleeve is better than nothing.

I wore this to a military ball and it was perfect for the occasion. I'm 5'4 so it went down to my ankles. The fabric was a bit clingy for me but beyond that the dress was great. Very pretty and comfortable.

Although the dress is lovely, and makes a great party dress, it did not fit "me" properly. I am small in the bust and large everywhere else, so the bodice was too big, while everything else fit as it should. The side zipper was a nice touch.

Dress is very pretty, but sized for someone with larger hips and a smaller bust. I am evenly proportioned and the top was very small. And yes I followed the formal wear rule: Always go up a size as formal wear is sized small.

The dress was pretty and fit well. However, it is almost floor length. I'm 5'5, and tried it on with 3 1/2" heels, and the dress still went to my ankles. Makes it too formal for my occasion, and didn't like it enough to spend the $$ to shorten.

The back was kind of boring too. It's just straight across, kind of square Given the fun/stylish front, I was hoping for something different in the back even a v neck to match the front (or a picture of the back so I knew what to expect)

I bought this dress after reading the reviews. I was amazed when I received the dress and tried it on that it fit perfectly. Imagine that with a side zipper!! The three layers of the dress give it a nice flow when you move. The bustline is sexy because of the sheer fabric overlay. I look forward to wearing this dress again, the only 'bummer' is the dry cleaning!

I really love this dress. I bought it for this years Christmas party. Its a fancy event, and i needed something pretty formal, this dress is really exactly what I was looking for. It definatly feels true to size. The only thing is, I am only 5ft 4in so the dress does not fall and mid calf for me, it is a floor length gown on me, which isnt bad either. Decided to leave it that way, made it look even more formal. I'm very excited to wear it to the party :)
