Those pants are great! Not only are they comfortable, the pockets have a velco closure which is great. The material is light weight and breathable so even in the summer I can look nice and be comfortable. I have only washed them, but they seem to stay true to size, and did great. These are great summer basics. I wear them to work with a twinset, out on a Sat night with a tank and shrug. they are comfortable and have that classic "summer linen" look without getting too wrinkled. I own several pairs and have been ordering these for years. I do dry clean but that's my preference as I work long hours and do not have time for washing/ironing a lot of clothes. One thing I do do is have my seamstress remove the front pockets and sew them up--this streamlines the pants for me and eliminates bulk. It costs $10 but is very much worth it for these great pants.

I live in the deep South and the fabric is a little heavy for hot summer wear, but they are great pants. The fabric is good quality. They would be really good if you work in an office all day. Just don't plan to wear them for outside activities in the hot weather.

Would love these pants even more if: the khaki color matched the floral khaki big shirt, the pockets didn't have the velcro closing, & they did not have the button fly front closing. These are very versatile, lightweight pants. Perfect for summer wear. The biggest downfall to them is that they wrinkle so very easily. The Velcro on the pockets is a nice touch because it eliminates that gap that some pants with front pockets tend to have. The legs are a little wide, but that seems to be the trend now.

I love the styling and the look, but all of the slacks seem to be so long; I am at least 5'7" and have to shorten all of the newer slacks...I don't know why the manufacturers are making them so long. I can sew, but it is a nuisance to have to shorten them before I can wear them. All of the items I've ever bought have been very nice though.

I own this pant from previous seasons and it appears that the manufacturer listened to the previous concerns and attempted to make changes. The waist was way too big, now too small. Surprised at how many women comment on the roominess of the legs, after all, the catalog description starts with “loose, easy fit.” I love the loose, easy fit and find the pants very comfortable, stylish. I bought these in True Navy and beige and was very pleased that the True Navy sweater and shirt match perfectly. I bought them in black as well. I love the fit, very comfortable. This is my third time purchasing these slacks. I bought the white ones last year and fell in love with them. This year I have bought one pair each of the black and the white in 2 different sizes. They are really a bargain and they wear extremely well. I got this for vacation,I'll need to bring an iron. I have to roll the waist down to get the crotch up from mid thigh. So no tucking. Or I could pull them up to under my bust(Not! I have ordered these linen pants in the past. I kept my last black pair for a year, but had to throw them out because they had faded and looked more grey than black. This is unfortunate since I didn't wear them that much, therefore I didn't have to wash them much either---yet they still faded.
The quality of the linen is not up to par either.
I have a pair in the oatmeal color and I enjoy them much more than the black.
These pants "grow" on you when wearing...(i.e. linen tends to get very wrinkled and the legs of these pants get larger and larger until they look huge!!)
