This jacket is amazing! I have gotten so many compliments on this piece. I got it too match a pair of cognac color leather boots I have and they are perfect match. one of the buttons came off but that was an easy fix, I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. Order a size up. I usually wear an 18 and the 20 fit perfectly.

The leather is definitely strange to look at and feel at first. It's also very stiff and squeaky out of the box, but I assume it will soften over time. I like the orangey brown color.

The bra hooks that "zip" up the jacket are kind of a pain, so leaving it open is the best option.

It's not terribly expensive and has an interesting, unique look. It's best suited for a night out here and there in early fall before it gets too cold. The jacket is pretty thin and lined with a satiny kind of material.

I ordered a size up as was reccommended by other reviewers, but I felt that it was a little too large when received. Also, the cut is not as flattering as I though it would be. Material also feels low quality and this. It is very stiff and I am hoping it becomes more flexible over time. It's not bad, it just didn't meet my expectations.

I’m so glad I read the reviews. I had never purchased anything from Jessica London. But I wanted a cute leather jacket and somehow I found this one. I read the reviews and everyone suggested to order a size larger. THANK YOU REVIEWERS! I usually wear a 14/16 so I ordered an 18. Yeah, I was worried about the fit. It's a very nice jacket but the sizing was off.I have learned the Jessica London clothes are sized small for the full figured woman. I can go to Macy's, Lane Bryant, Coldwater Creek or Chadwicks and get a size 20 and it fits perfectly but I have to order a size 24 in coats and jackets and a 22 in clothing when ordering from JL.

I bought ths jacket in brown last season, twice. I gave the first one to my baby sister who feel in love with it; you might say it was love at first sight. This jacket is absolutely brilliant. I have received many compliments when I wear it out. Someone even told me I flatter Janet Jackson a bit in the jacket. I got it in the tan color, and it looks fabulous with jeans and boots. Very trendy jacket. I would definitely recommend it for younger women between sizes 12-24. I would not recommend it for much larger women due to the length and fit of the jacket, as possible unwanted "bulges" might be seen.

I was so disappointed. I have been eyeing this jacket since August. I finally ordered it and I am so disappointed. Two buttons broke off even before I tried it on. The leather was very cheap and shows even light scratches. This is the second time that I have been disappointed with a leather product from Jessica London. As much as I love everything else that I order here, I will refrain from ordering leather products again. This is the first time I have ever given a completely negative review of a product.

I first bought this jacket in black and fell in love with so I had to get it in another color. I decided to get it in the cognac and when it came I was a bit disappointed. Color was a little off and it had such an odor I had to air it out for a few days. Now it's too cold to wear. It's still a decent jacket.

I was disappointed in the color, particularly. It is muddy. In addition, the closures are poorly designed and do not work well. One of them didn't work at all!

In addition, it is cut too small across the bust. It fits well everywhere else, but I would never be able to button it. A larger size would be too big in the shoulders and too long in the sleeves.

all in all -- quite disappointing, and I will be returning it.

I was so excited to get this jacket and once it came in I immediatedly tried it on. To my surprise it looked awful! I wear a 44DDD bra and this jacket just did not look right on me because the buttons just stuck out. I work at a high end retailer and must dress in a stylish manor. I got so many compliments on this jacket, that eveyone thought I bought it at our store. The color and feel is so nice. I was excited to see this jacket on the Jessica London website. I had been browsing different websites to find the perfect leather jacket. I was excited to receive this T-Button detail jacket but a little let down that the color wasn't as cognac red/brown as I would've liked. The fit was also a turnoff at first, but in a matter of hours the jacket started to mold to my form and started to look the way I'd imagined. I get nothing but compliments when I wear this jacket. I did get caught in the rain once and now feel the jacket is giving off a slight water-worn smell but I plan on getting it treated as soon as possible. All in all I love this jacket and only wish it were darker and slightly longer for a more flattering look.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 20w (even though I usually wear a 16 or 18). The 20w fit me perfectly in the shoulders and the bust, but was way loose from there down. (I have a 46" bust and a 40" waist, if that helps.) I love the style and the fit on top so much that I'm keeping it and having it taken in at the torso. In fact, my tailor doesn't usually deal with leather but thought the jacket was so cute that she was willing to take on the alteration. :)

This is a lightweight but well made jacket. Stylish, flattering. Would love to have more in other colors. I purchased black. Got this jacket on sale and I love it. The cognac color is very rich looking. The only quibble I have is that it looked more tapered in the catalog, but is actually pretty square cut. However, the buttons and front detailing do give it a nice tapered look. I can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear it! It will look very sharp with jeans and boots.

The first time I saw the jacket, I knew that was the perfect one for me. It is a garment that can be used for all sorts of events, dress up, dress down. The leather is a bit stiff when you first remove it from the bag, but it does mellow as you weat it. I don' wear brown so I was happy not only to find one at a reasonable price but in black with my choice of silver buttons to top it all off. Body fits well and is flattering but the sleeves are a bit long. I had to turn them up about an inch and a half to get the correct length. But for the price it was worth it. It's a lighter leather, not a real super high quality but with the sale and %off deal I ended up paying about [$] for a decent leather jacket. Not bad at all!

This is the perfect jacket for me, I wear it in any weather it fits well is somewhat warn and I think it is just a georgous jacket for the money.

I really like the look and quality of the jacket. But I did have to get a larger size because the it felt too small, and the sleeves were too short.

Very disappointed with the texture of the leather; picture in catalog seem to have a gloss look which I wanted-It's OK the leather looked aged but very very dull.

I had been waiting for a black leather jacket in this military design for a very long time, so I was thrilled with JL got one in stock. Unfortunately when the jacket arrived, I was gutted. The overall design was poorly done, the leather feels cheap and stiff and was uncomfortable. Also if you're large chested like I am, the bands of leather across the front stick out and won't lay down unless I hold my arms out to the side ... I don't know about you, but I don't walk around that way, so I'll be returning the jacket.

I was very, very dissatisfied with the quality of this product, I was so excited to get this jacket because it looked so good in the book and then when it gets in, it was very poor quality, and looked cheap. I thought [$] for a jacket on sale was a great bargain, what I got was so depressing....such a cute style and then a big let down. On top of that, I lost money in returning it.....not good customer service.None

The overall product is okay.
Stiffness of the leather is the only draw back
It does not have the relaxed look I thought it would. But still it is a good buy.
